CHAI’s finance team is based out of our Boston office, and provides operational support to programmatic teams working in over 30 countries around the world. Our program teams work to improve access to quality health care and focus on a number of different issues and disease areas including, but not limited to HIV, vaccines, malaria, and maternal and newborn health.
The Treasury Department oversees the organization’s cash and capital management, currency administration and engagement with banking services provider(s) globally. The department oversees allocation and use of donor funds and operating funds. The function is responsible for validating cash transactions, assessing currency risks and investments of donor contributions to optimize and improve value of program funds.
Reporting to Director of Treasury, a successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued development of the department with the focus on monthly reporting and processes necessary to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Key measures of success in this role include: timely and accurate reporting on program funds, variances analysis between planned disbursement and actual; effective partnering with internal finance teams in Boston; proactive identification and resolution of differences between accounting and financial planning; implement effective process improvements workflows related to departments deliverables.
