The Finance Intern, will primarily support the Manager, Financial Controls and Compliance in assisting with knowledge management for Finance. This includes but is not limited to, deleting old files, moving current files into its assigned locations, and restructuring unit folders to align with the guidelines set for in the Finance Knowledge Management Guide and Records Retention Policy.


The principal objectives of this position are:

  • Provide analysis and findings to the Manager of Financial Controls and Compliance or to other Senior Managers so that they can make accurate decisions.
  • Assist with overall records management in procedures and analysis


What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

  • Ensure all files are accurate, up to date, complete, and in the correct location
  • Ensure files and data are stored in compliance with Data Privacy and other agency policies
  • Assures administrative detail on all projects
  • Provide general clerical work as needed on day to day basis
  • Perform additional special projects as required

Required Qualifications

  • Must be an actively enrolled Associate, Bachelor, Master or other post high school education program, or have graduated within 6 months of intern program start date
  • Possess strong written skills, solid interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Currently eligible to work in the U.S.
