This position will be responsible for assisting the programs officers with administrative tasks related to their project management responsibilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop documents and presentations for the following:

  • board meeting preparation
  • project proposals reviewing/editing
  • presentations for field knowledge on results-based management, etc.

 

Up-to-Date Staff Guide to Programs resources:

  • revise the country profiles for 2019
  • keep internal programs map updated accordingly

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Studying in international development or related field
  • Strong familiarity and understanding of Results Based Management
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English are required, including strong analytical and report-writing capability and strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated capacity to work both in a self-directed manner and collaboratively with other staff and stakeholders;
  • Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, electronic mail and database systems
  • Be able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient with Gmail, MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
